You can book and move in online through our website, or contact our team and we’ll send you a secure link to complete your booking. Once your payment and ID verification are finalised, you will receive a unique PIN code for the security gate along with a site map showing your storage unit location. On move-in day, simply bring your own padlock and you’ll have immediate access to your unit. It’s a straightforward process designed to help you move in without delays.

For safety and legal reasons, certain items are not permitted in Megstin Self Storage units. Prohibited items include flammable or hazardous materials such as petrol, gas bottles, chemicals or explosives, as well as perishable goods or food. Illegal or stolen goods, weapons or ammunition, and living plants or animals are also strictly prohibited. Lithium-ion batteries, or any items containing lithium-ion batteries, are not allowed due to fire risk. If you’re unsure whether a specific item is permitted, please contact our team before moving in. We’re always happy to help clarify.

We strongly recommend insuring your belongings while using our secure self storage facility, as it is the customer’s responsibility to arrange appropriate insurance cover. In many cases, you can contact your existing home and contents insurance provider, inform them that you are using self storage, and request an extension to your current policy. This can often be arranged at little or no extra cost. Having insurance provides added peace of mind and protects your items against unexpected events.

Security is a top priority at Megstin Self Storage, and our facility is designed to give you confidence every time you store with us. Each storage unit is secured with your own padlock, and the entire facility is fully fenced. Access is controlled through an electric security gate with a unique PIN, and 24/7 CCTV surveillance covers the premises. Only authorised customers can enter the site, ensuring your belongings remain safe and protected at all times.

We have a two-month minimum charge, but you can store for as little as a day. We ask for 7 days' notice before you move out.

Yes, you can upgrade or downsize your storage unit, subject to availability.
